Tea Masala is a basic blend of aromatic Indian spices which when added to tea enhances its flavour and warmth. Can also be used in making “Ukala” which is a popular drink from Western India.
Cooking Recipe : Masala Tea
Heat three-fourth cup of water in a pan.
When it comes to a boil, add one tsp of tea leaves, one-fourth tsp KHAZANA TEA MASALA and sugar to taste. Reduce heat and simmer for two to three minutes.
Add one-fourth cup of milk and continue to simmer for another two minutes. Strain and serve piping hot.
Do not boil the tea too much after adding the masala or else it will turn bitter.
Add it to cakes and Halwa for the hint of spice.
