Paneer is indeed an all time favourite. Paneer Butter Masala, cooked in a flavourful tomato based gravy, the butter makes it extra rich. A traditional Punjabi preparation, that goes very well with naan, bhature, kulche, paranthe or rotis.
Empty the entire contents of the packet into a pan
Add 2 cups of water. Cover and cook for 10 mins.
Open lid and add 400g paneer cubes and ¼ cup of cream.
Simmer for 5 mins until the desired consistency is achieved.
Empty the entire contents of the packet in a microwave safe bowl, add 1 cup of water and cook for 10 mins.
Add 400g of paneer cubes and ¼ cup of cream.
Cook on microwave HIGH for 5 mins or until the desired consistency is achieved.
Serving suggestion: Serve with a dollop of butter and garnish with fresh cream and with bread/ rice.
Do not overcook paneer because it will become tough.
